James Dycus is an Innovation Specialist at Pine Crest School in Boca Raton, FL, working with pre-K through 8th-grade students. With a Master's in STEM Education from Southern Methodist University, James specializes in project-based learning, design thinking, and maker education to foster young learners' creativity and problem-solving skills.
Previously, he served as an 8th-grade science teacher and an instructional facilitator for Broward County Public Schools and Dallas Independent School District. In his current role, James integrates advanced tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, power tools, and Tinkercad to enhance students' learning through hands-on, technology-driven projects.
Outside the classroom, James is a proud parent of two young sons, an FSU alum, and is passionate about developing full-stack software applications.
